Dix: Is that "Hava Nagila"? What are you doing?
Mom o' Dix: My friend Dot sent me an e-card. How does she make them like this?
Dix: It's a program on her computer. But why did she put "Hava Nagila" with it for music? That's a Jewish song.
Mom o' Dix: I don't know. (pause) Maybe Dot's Jewish.
Dix: MAMA. Dot's not Jewish. How many Jewish people *do* you know? (pause) None.
Mom o' Dix: Jesus!

I laughed so hard that I had to break out the inhalers. So my mom knows ONE Jewish person.
