My mother found this letter I wrote to a cousin at the tender age of 4 1/2 as she was going through pictures for a family reunion this weekend.

The text, just in case:
Dear Tanya,
I am with Grandmother and Graddaddy to Tweetsie Land I bet you will miss me I love you I am sorry that I had to write this letter in pencil that's all I had to write with Please tell Taryn that I love her How is Dinky doing Please come to my Grandmother's house My cat has run away forever Well that's all I have to say

I had no punctuation skills, but look at the great spelling! Contractions and possessives with apostrophes, too!
